How do I use the event Logo Editor?

Note: Only Admin Users can interact with event logos

Logos can be edited when first uploaded to an event using the logo editor, which automatically opens when you select an image you want to upload.

The editor allows you to drag your image into a suitable position and then crop the image to a size of your own preference using the slider displayed below. Once you have saved your changes, the event logo will be applied to all areas where it is displayed in the application.

If you wish to replace your event logo, or upload a logo to an event that doesn't currently have one, simply access your Admin Event Dashboard (either via the Admin Area or from your Event Dashboard by selecting the 'Edit Event' option) and select 'Configure Event'. When you scroll down the page you will see an option to interact with your event's logo - if you select this option you will be able to add or replace the event logo for your event. The logo editor will be available when a new image has been selected, and once you have saved your changes, the event logo will be applied to all areas where it is displayed in the application.

Are there any limits on what images I can use as a logo?

All common image files are supported (including .jpg and .png files). We don't have standard logo dimensions for your events - the logo editor is responsive to any image size you decide to upload. Ideally the logo should be a 2:1 aspect ratio (rectangular), but the editor will re-size any image you add dynamically once saved/updated.

IE11 Users should note that the cropping of logo images is not supported using the logo editor, only the ability to re-position the image is available. We would recommend that IE11 Users 'pre-crop' the image before uploading the logo to their event, or to enjoy full functionality of this feature use another supported browser.
